WHO ARE WE?
The Merivale Gardens Community Association (MGCA) is a volunteer organization serving the residents of this Ottawa, Ontario community. It is bordered on the north by West Hunt Club Road, on the south by Slack Road, on the east by Merivale Road, and on the west by Woodroffe Avenue. There are approximately 160 homes in this neighbourhood.
As a community association, our purpose includes the following activities:
we organize annual events within the community to foster relationships among our residents
we facilitate communication within the community through the maintenance of an email distribution list, Facebook groups, and this web site
we provide the means to unite and deal with matters of common concern.

Corn Roast
Held annually in the park, usually on the Saturday after Labour Day weekend. Free feast of corn on the cob and hot dogs with a potluck dessert table.
Halloween Parade
Meet at 5:15 pm at the corner of Arco and Jay for the Halloween Parade in lieu of door to door trick-or-treating. Let's hope for a repeat of last year's success!
Spring Clean Up
Held annually on a nice weekend in early May.
Social Drop-Ins
Held once a month on a weekday morning or afternoon. Social gatherings in someone's house or at the park in warmer months. Contact Maureen or Jerry at 613-820-0176 or maureen26fiori@gmail.com to be added to the mailing list for specific dates and times.
Community Garage Sale
Held from time to time in the summer.
