Constitution

We have drafted a constitution for the Merivale Gardens Community Association and are seeking input from the community on its content.

Why do we feel we need a Constitution?

Our constitution provides a terms of reference for our association, such as :

• • physical boundaries of the community,

  • structure of the association,

  • responsibilities of each executive role, and

  • guidelines to ensure it operates fairly on behalf of the whole community.

It is also often a requirement to apply for available grants or funding.
